9 January 2014 – First meeting of the steering committee
The steering committee of the RAHEE project met in Brussels, Belgium to outline its role and refine the project's methodology.
WHO staff gave an overview of the project and links with the European Commission, and described the technical progress made. The discussion focused on data sources, the limitations of existing health economic databases, and the scope and limitations of the project.
February 2015 – High-level expert panel
A panel of high-level experts convened, including policy-makers, experts in the health economics of the diseases studied and members of the project steering committee. The findings of the RAHEE project were presented to the panel, focusing on central elements for the agenda for future research for health economic evaluation.
