The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

The WHO Country Office in Skopje finalized a survey on elder abuse in the country, which was conducted within the framework of the United Nations Joint Programme on “Strengthening National Capacities to Prevent Domestic Violence” supported by the Government of the Netherlands and the United Nations Trust Fund. The preliminary findings of this survey were announced on 5 April 2012 at a joint World Health Day event organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. 

The survey report will be launched later in the year.
