High-profile event starts the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 in Croatia
The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, in collaboration with the WHO Country Office and the Croatian National Institute of Public Health, will open the Road Safety Decade for Action in Zagreb today, 11 May 2011, with the launch of the National Program on Road Safety in Croatia for 2011-2020.
At the event, primary school children will present their art works on road safety and the best works will receive prizes. National authorities, public health professionals, WHO experts, representatives of associations and nongovernmental organizations will present their views on how to make roads safer and improve post-crash response.
