Gender mainstreaming for Health managers: a practical approach

The training modules “Gender mainstreaming for health managers: a practical approach” enable hands-on application of concepts and methods of gender analysis and gender- responsive programming. The Manual consist of a Facilitators’ Guide and Participant Notes and introduces six WHO gender analysis tools. In the European Region, the modules have been used in Albania, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Moldova, Spain, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan and in trainings held in Copenhagen, Salzburg and Venice with participants from WHO country offices and staff from ministries of health from several countries.
