Although international society recognizes the direct connection between cultural gender roles and reproductive health, gender inequalities still contribute to poor reproductive health of young people, especially young females.

Transforming health systems is a training manual for health managers that promotes gender equity and reproductive rights through the use of evidence, policy development and service delivery. The curriculum aspires to turn health workers, managers and policy-makers into agents of change, committed to transforming health systems.
