Membership of the Twenty-eighth Standing Committee of the Regional Committee for Europe 2020–2021

The Standing Committee of the Regional Committee for Europe (SCRC) consists of representatives from 12 Member States, elected by the WHO Regional Committee for Europe. The election procedure takes into account the need for an equitable geographical distribution, adequate representation of the interests of the WHO European Region, the opportunity for all Member States in the Region to participate over time in the work of the SCRC, and other considerations relevant to maximizing the effectiveness of the SCRC’s work.

In accordance with Rule 14.2.4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Regional Committee for Europe, the Deputy Executive President of the Regional Committee shall be ex officio the Chairperson of the SCRC.
