Public health and climate change adaptation policies in the European Union (2018)
In 2017 the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the European Commission started a joint 18-month project to analyse developments in health policies to address adaptation to climate change in European Union countries and to compile a selection of good practice case studies.

Urban green space interventions and health: A review of impacts and effectiveness. Full report (2017)
The findings show that interventions to increase or improve urban green space can deliver positive health, social and environmental outcomes for all population groups, particularly among lower socioeconomic status groups.

A survey of WHO European Member States highlighted the gaps in the prevention of health effects of floods and the availability of timely flood–health response strategies or established action plans.

Climate change and health: a tool to estimate health and adaptation costs (2013)
The WHO Regional Office for Europe prepared this economic analysis tool to support health adaptation planning in European Member States. It is based on a review of the science. It is expected to be applied in Member States mainly by line ministries responsible for climate change adaptation.
