Albania success stories in improving mother and child health (2010)
Over the past decade, the Ministry of Health of Albania has been carrying out a health reform with special emphasis on improving health of mothers, babies and children. Within the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Care Reform Project (MNCH), funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation with technical assistance from the WHO Regional Office for Europe, a series of successful initiatives have been initiated. Some of the success stories are described in this folder.
