Communication and advocacy
WHO/Europe works closely with national authorities to improve their public communications related to immunization and to advocate for strengthening immunization programmes. This support includes country communication reviews and tools:
- to drive demand for new vaccines as well as routine and supplementary immunization activities;
- to address vaccine safety concerns and crises;
- to strengthen disease outbreak communication capacity; and
- to bolster advocacy platforms through both traditional and social media.
