Eighth Meeting of the European Technical Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (ETAGE)

The eighth meeting of the European Technical Advisory Group of Experts of Immunization (ETAGE) took place on 8−9 October 2008 at the WHO Regional Office for Europe, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Discussions focused on the progress towards the 2010 regional measles and rubella elimination goals, the introduction of new vaccines, vaccine-preventable disease surveillance and strengthening the national advisory committees on immunization (NACIs). On this occasion, ETAGE also endorsed the Regional Office’s strategic plan for Targeted Diseases and Immunization for 2008−2013.
